If you purchase the model without the pole you will need to buy a wooden pole, 2.5cm in diameter from your local hardware store. If you don't have time or aren't too handy I'd buy the one that comes with the pole ;)
If your pole is slightly too thick to fit then sand it evenly around with sandpaper until it is sized to fit.
If your pole is slightly too thin, and not tight in the weeder then wrap the circumference with duct tape until it’s a firm fit.
Push the pole into the open end of the weeder & twist to ensure a good fit and the pole is inserted to the full depth of the weeder collar. Using a small drill bit, create a pilot hole in the wood through the small hole in the weeder collar, then screw in a self-tapping wood screw no longer than 2.5cm in length. Screw into the pilot hole and tighten against the collar to secure the pole in the weeder. Now you are good to weed your garden 🌱
